We will study the ovarian and uterine cycles, find out how conception occurs, and learn how the uterus and the organs of pregnancy protect and nourish the embryo and fetus. We will conclude the lesson with a look at the physiologic changes that occur during pregnancy and a quick survey of the stages of labor.
