Outline the mechanisms of muscle contraction.
Differentiate among the types of muscle contractions.

Describe joint structures that support muscles or connect them to bones.
Specify how the individual muscles of the body are named.
Identify the major skeletal muscles in the head and neck, trunk, upper extremities, and lower extremities.
