The Evaluation and Management (E/M) services are the most widely used Current Procedural Terminology (CPT®) codes. This course introduces learners to CPT E/M coding and applying the CPT coding guidelines and E/M documentation guidelines to case studies and scenarios. This course will help the learner develop the skills necessary to accurately assign the documented E/M service. A current copy of the Current Procedural Terminology (CPT®), Professional Edition, and copies of the 1995 and 1997 Documentation Guidelines for Evaluation and Management Services are needed to complete this course.
