A Complex Geriatric Case: Foot and Ankle Evaluation and Treatment

This case study guides the learner through the evaluation and treatment of an older adult presenting with foot and ankle pain. Components of a comprehensive examination are presented with opportunities to develop clinical reasoning skills to determine differential diagnoses. The examination findings and differential diagnoses are used to develop a comprehensive treatment plan including appropriate goal setting, treatment modifications based on clinical findings and progression, and expected outcomes.
