Assisting with a Tub Bath or Shower

Throughout the day, our bodies accumulate microbes, dead skin, perspiration and excess oils that must be regularly removed. While a bath or shower is important for cleanliness, it is also an opportunity to stimulate circulation and exercise the extremities. This course will review the guidelines to follow when assisting with bathing as well as the steps that need to be followed. This course corresponds to the Federal regulations F310, F311, F312, G226, & L543.
