Applying Elastic Stockings

Elastic stockings aid in circulation and healing, and are also used to promote comfort and prevent injury. They are generally used on individuals who are at risk for developing blood clots, for example, those who have had surgery, who have heart and circulatory disease, are currently on bed rest, or older individuals. This course reviews the steps involved in applying elastic stockings. This course corresponds to the Federal regulations G226 & L543.
