Robert Layman, CHCM
Robert "Safety Bob" Layman, has been involved in the safety industry since 1997. Bob's safety experience includes serving as a Safety and Loss Control Manager for a large construction company and a Safety Consultant for several premier safety consulting firms. In October of 2009 we began National Safety & Training Solutions, LLC.
Bob is an authorized OSHA Outreach Trainer for General Industry and for Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response Standard (HAZWOPER). Bob is also an approved Safety Instructor by the National Association of Safety Professionals. In addition, Bob is an authorized First Aid/CPR/AED Instructor & Instructor Trainer for Medic First Aid (ASHI). Throughout his 13 years of safety experience, Bob has acquired numerous safety certifications on topics such as respirator/fit tests, mobile equipment operation, and disaster/incident planning and response.
Bob has written multiple company safety manuals and site specific safety plans for industries and has trained hundreds of workers on accident/disaster prevention and response.
