Individuals with histories of behavior difficulties sometimes experience situations that trigger unsafe behavior. This course will cover some of the reasons why behavioral crises occur and how they escalate. Strategies for prevention, intervention, and de-escalation will be addressed as well.The goal of this educational program is to provide behavior analysts in clinical and community settings with the information needed to navigate the variables associated with behavioral crisis intervention and prevention. This training is offered independent of the Behavior Analysis Certification Board®.
