Operative laparoscopic surgeries are the direction of treatment and visualization for abdominal surgeries. Operative laparoscopy allows surgeons to see, diagnose, and treat through minimally invasive surgery. Laparoscopic procedures are now the standard of care for hospitals. The goal of this course is to educate surgical technologists about operative laparoscopy, intraoperative techniques, and its potential complications.
