This Facility Assessment is just one of the many revisions to the Long-Term Care Requirements of Participation (ROP) that was finalized in 2016. The Facility Assessment requirements were incorporated into Phase 2 of the revised regulations with an effective date of November 28th, 2017. In this course, you will learn the intent and purpose of the Facility Assessment, the regulatory requirements related to completion of the Facility Assessment, how it may potentially impact other regulatory requirements, steps to completing the assessment, and potential ways to use data from the Facility Assessment to deliver safe, effective, and meaningful resident-centered care.
