It can be difficult to recognize as its symptoms can be confused with other medical conditions and with side-effects from certain medications. In your work environment, you have likely cared for and will care for those with depression. In this course, you will learn about the basics of depression in older adults, including things you can do to help those with depression along with important signs and symptoms that you must report immediately.

Elizabeth Kellerman, MSN, RN worked as a critical care nurse in an Intensive Care Unit of a community hospital and that experience provided significant training in caring for older adults.
