Communication impacts almost every aspect of our lives. However, we often don't stop to think about whether we are communicating well.
Direct support professionals, or DSPs, interact with a wide range of people. In this course, you will learn important skills that will help you communicate with everyone around you. You can use these skills to improve understanding between you and the people you communicate with. You will also learn how to respond effectively to conflict.
The goal of this course is to teach DSPs in IDD service settings about basic communication strategies.
