The evidence base in the treatment of autism is growing at a steady pace. It is important for behavior analysts who work with individuals with autism to understand recent research findings to determine if results can be applied to interventions they design and supervise. This course will provide an overview of recent research in autism intervention and strategies for evaluating efficacy levels of published studies.The goal of this course is to provide behavior analysts in clinical practice with information regarding current evidence-based practices in the treatment of symptoms in autism spectrum disorder.DSM™ and DSM-5™ are registered trademarks of the American Psychiatric Association.
