Behavior analysts must use the tools of applied behavior analysis to assess and provide effective intervention. An often-underutilized tool to establish the effectiveness of an intervention for an individual is single-subject research design. This course will describe how to use single-subject research design in clinical practice. It will provide strategies for applying various designs to issues commonly seen in ABA practice.
The goal of this course is to provide information to behavior analysts in clinical practice with information on how to conduct single-subject research studies to determine intervention effectiveness. This training program is offered independent of the Behavior Analysis Certification Board® (BACB®). Participant complaints regarding this or any other BACB CE event requirements violations must first be directed, in writing, to the Relias Learning ACE Coordinator, Rhonda Davin, PhD. Please contact Dr. Davin via email: [email protected] The ACE Coordinator will make every reasonable attempt to resolve participant complaints; however, should the ACE Coordinator be unable to resolve the complaint, the complainant may file a formal complaint directly with the BACB.
