Activity programs are meant to better the lives of all residents in your care. To do this, the program must maximize each resident's sense of well-being and independence. A program can accomplish this by providing residents a broad range of activities that assist in promoting a sense of connection and accomplishment and high quality of life. This course discusses how to enhance an activity program so that it takes a resident's needs, interests, and goals into account. It also discusses how to create a thorough care plan based on those needs.
