Group and individual activities provide an opportunity for residents to stay active, experience reduced boredom and depression, feel a sense of well-being, maintain skill levels, and interact with other residents. This course discusses the basic activity regulatory guidelines for nursing facilities. It also discusses the different types of individual activities and who can provide them to older adults.
