Death and dying are difficult subjects to talk about. There are many different emotions related to death and dying. How a person deals with the emotions and discussions of death and dying are related to the attitude one has on the subject. This course will discuss how attitudes influence discussions and emotions related to death and dying. It also discusses how cultural values and other factors impact a person's attitude on death and dying. Without this knowledge, personal biases may negatively impact patient care, especially at end of life.
