Pulmonary Rehab: The Basics and Beyond, Current Evidence-Based Practice Recommendations Series


This is a six part, pre-recorded webinar series. This series will be centered around the most recent statement by the American Thoracic Society and European Respiratory Society on key concepts and advances in pulmonary rehabilitation. It will include recommendations for implementing these key concepts and advances into the content and process of your pulmonary rehabilitation program. The current minimum standards for pulmonary rehabilitation program certification established by the American Association for Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation will also be discussed. Guidelines from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) on reimbursement of pulmonary rehabilitation-related services will be a thread throughout the entire series. Case examples will be utilized to enhance the educational experience. This webinar will be beneficial for those developing a pulmonary rehabilitation program, for those who are seasoned veterans of pulmonary rehab, and those anywhere in between.
