This course will cover basic information regarding Individualized Education Plans, or IEPs. IEPs have also been called Individualized Education Programs. This course will also address the legal and policy foundations for IEP development and implementation as well as the structure and function of IEP teams. The components of IEPs will be illustrated along with the general educators’ role in IEP implementation. Strategies and tips will also be offered.
