This course provides physical, occupational, and speech therapy professionals with foundational knowledge of hypoxemia and oxygen therapy. Topics include the physiology of oxygen transport, indications for supplemental oxygen, equipment and delivery methods, and best practices for managing long-term oxygen use in the rehabilitation setting. Clinical scenarios support the application of concepts to therapy assessment, intervention, and monitoring.
