This course provides an in-depth exploration of foundational ethical principles and standards specific to social work, guided by the National Association of Social Workers (NASW) Code of Ethics (2021a). Participants will learn guidelines and practical strategies for ethical decision-making in complex patient situations, including navigating interdisciplinary challenges and the ethical use of social media and AI. The course also covers the importance of self-care in maintaining professional integrity and preventing burnout.
