Direct support professionals, or DSPs who work in intellectual and developmental disability, or IDD settings are at risk for exposure to bloodborne pathogens. This course discusses how pathogens are spread. It also discusses the use of standard precautions and the importance of infection control. 

The goal of this course is to educate DSPs in IDD settings on standard precautions.
