Stress is associated with serious health problems, depression, loneliness, and isolation. Stress affects our quality of life, and our relationships with others, and can lead to depression. Understanding the process of stress, when it is perceived, and the negative biological and psychological consequences on our bodies is important. During this webinar, Andrea Voras will explore what causes stress and how it is perceived. We will also discuss the biological and psychological consequences and measuring of stress and how it impacts our bodies, the role of cortisol in our bodies, and ways to manage stress in assisted living facilities.
