Ultimately, nursing leaders can improve patient safety, increase patient satisfaction, and promote evidence-based care by utilizing data. Nurse leaders who can understand various representations of data are well positioned to make informed decisions regarding quality measures and process improvements. The goal of this course is to educate nursing leadership in the acute care setting on various data collection strategies and data charts.
