Retirement in IDD
Retirement in IDD

People with IDD are living longer, healthier lives than ever before. As adults with IDD age, an increasing number of them are living in retirement. Retirement changes a person's daily routine. It can affect their finances and living arrangements. It also brings social and emotional changes. DSPs need to understand these changes so they can support retired adults with IDD to maintain a high quality of life.

The goal of this course is to teach DSPs about supporting adults with IDD in retirement.
