In this communication effectiveness course, you will explore how understanding your own and other people’s communication styles will positively impact your interactions and increase your effectiveness as a manager. You will learn how to identify your own communication style which will help you adapt to the styles of other people. You will examine the pros and cons of each style so that you are able to work more effectively with your team. You will also learn techniques for adapting to different communication styles. Not only will you gain awareness of your own style, you will be able to assess the style of your team members and create an action plan for more effective communication. This course will use a blend of experiential exercises, instructive information, and self-study to provide the tips, tools, and techniques you need to increase your effectiveness.
