ASCLS - American Society for Clinical Laboratory Science; FL-CLP- Florida Board of Clinical Laboratory Personnel

Patient Safety/Medical Errors and Prevention Board approved two (2) hour course relating to the prevention of medical errors, which shall include root-cause analysis, error reduction and prevention, and patient safety, as it relates to the practice of clinical laboratory personnel.	2	2 years
Ethics/Laws/Rules/Jurisprudence Florida laws and rules governing clinical laboratory personnel.	1	2 years
HIV/AIDS Shall be offered by an approved provider in accordance with Rule 64B3-11.004, F.A.C., or be an approved provider of any Board within the Department’s Division of Medical Quality Assurance.	1	2 years
General Education For licensees with a Specialty – one (1) contact hour of CE must be completed in each of the specialty categories in which you are licensed	20	2 years
