Quality improvement is important for all home health agencies in order to ensure that they are providing the highest quality of care and services to their clients. Process measures derived from the OASIS assessment help agencies determine compliance with adopted best care practices. Because the information contained in these measures is vital to quality improvement efforts, it is important for you, as a clinician, to understand what these process measures are. In this course, you will learn about the importance of process measures. You will also learn how to accurately score the OASIS items included in process measures and how your agency uses process measures as part of their quality improvement program.

She has been responsible for agency regulatory and accreditation compliance as well as quality assurance programs for home health and hospice. In her current position, she has oversight of the financial, operational, and quality performance of multiple home healthcare providers.
