This introductory course on cultural diversity will provides an overview of cultural diversity and discusses various dimensions and issues of diversity. This course is not exhaustive; however, it will provide you with the fundamental tools that will enable you to interact with others of diverse cultures and effectively perform your job responsibilities.

Instructor: Sherri Taylor, M.A.
Sherri Taylor, M.A. received her Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from the Wright Institute in Berkeley, California and her Bachelor’s degree in Feminist Studies from Stanford University (2003). She is a doctoral candidate (Psy.D.) at The Wright Institute program in Clinical Psychology in Berkeley, California. Ms. Taylor's clinical focus is in working with children, adolescents, and families. She is currently completing an APA-Accredited pre-doctoral internship at the Department of Psychiatry at UCSF/SFGH Infant, Child, and Adolescent Program. Her training experience includes working with Oakland Unified School District, San Francisco Department of Public Health, Alameda County Behavioral Health Services, and local community-based youth development organizations. Ms. Taylor also has experience teaching and presenting to a variety of audiences on multicultural awareness and cultural diversity, family therapy, complex trauma in children, as well as trauma-sensitive systems of care.
